Writing Workshop
Students participate in Writing Workshop daily. During writing workshop the teacher will model writing with a mini-lesson. The mini-lesson is followed by independent writing time for students. Students go through the prewriting stage, revising stage, the editing stage, and the publishing stage. The students work at their own pace and are allowed to choose what to write about.
